Big Fox

Big Fox is Charlotta Perers. Saturday and Cut You Out are her first two singles – written, produced and performed by the Fox herself in her living room in Malmö, Sweden. It all started a few years ago with a strange feeling that she should be making music. She wasn’t a total beginner, but her previous experiences were rather of the more traditional style, with school choirs and 9 years of clarinet (although she now wonders why she spent so many years with that). She stopped taking piano lessons at 10, since the piano teacher realised she never practised. But somehow, for some reason, she ran into pop music, falling in love with the music of Cat Power, Feist, Frida Hyvönen, Jenny Wilson, Regina Spektor and many many more.

Two: haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics born during the Nordic seasons, inspired by Folk/Americana/Blues. Three: the urge to be on stage and communicate with the audience no matter if they are strangers or friends or there are 5 or 500 of them listening. And four: joy. Joy of eating a nice dinner, of travelling to a far away place, of hanging with dear friends, of living each day like it's harvest time...

Willy Clay Band

Life is sometimes pretty slow north of the polar circle. In the mining town of Kiruna, people tend to think at least twice before they act. And if you don't have anything important to say, you keep quiet. There's not a lot of chit chat going on in Kiruna. The five members of Willy Clay Band are very much a product af the far north and its mentality. They don't see it as an odd thing to wait four years to release the follow up to the successfull and highly acclaimed debut album »Rececca Drive«. They just had to wait until they were ready to do it. Wait until they had the songs. But now the follow up is finally here. And what an album »Blue« is! 13 brilliant original songs and a cover of the eighties hit »Never Never«. It's not only the songs that are impressive. The sound of the band and the vocals are better than ever. Blue was recorded in an old barn on the countryside outside Kiruna by the reknown engineer and producer Ollie Olson.

The Happy Hippo Family

Melodic indie rock with a clear British touch mixed with joyus Madness ska and 80's synthezisers is what Swedish outfit The Happy Hippo Family is all about. It´s energetic and fun, aimed at dance floors and sporting quite a few opportunities for those feeling the need to shout along on choruses.
